Community-Based Digital Heritage Lab (CDHL) @ UConn

Dr. Acebo manages the Community-Based Digital Heritage Lab (CDHL) at the University of Connecticut at Storrs. The CDHL is the center for interdisciplinary, community-driven archaeological and anthropological research at UConn, and is home to Dr. Acebo's and his students  projects. The CDHL is currently under construction. Upon completion, the CDHL will be able to perform a range of analytical services:
  • Macro/microscopic artifact analysis- spec. lithic, ceramics, metals and plastics. 
  • X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analysis of geological and archaeological samples.
  • Quantitative Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis.
  • Qualitative Geospatial Data Visualization (e.g., StoryMap Production).
  • Digital Artifact Curation, Photogrammetry,  & 3D Printing.
